Every meaningful journey begins with a simple thought.
For me, that thought was, "Can chocolate be both indulgent and wholesome?"
I have always loved chocolate, but I also became more aware of what goes into many commercially available products. Bright colours, artificial flavours, and unnecessary additives have become increasingly common. While they make products look attractive, I wanted to create something that celebrated the natural taste of good ingredients instead.
That idea became the foundation of my journey.
I decided that chocolate would remain the hero of every recipe, but it would be paired with ingredients that offered more than just flavour. Traditional grains like ragi, nutritious seeds, nuts, and other wholesome ingredients felt like the perfect partners. They have been part of our food culture for generations, and I wanted to give them a modern twist.
My goal was never to make a "healthy chocolate" that compromises on taste. I wanted to create chocolates that people genuinely enjoy while appreciating the goodness of carefully chosen ingredients.
The very first recipe wasn't made in the kitchen—it was written on paper. I filled pages with ideas, combinations, ingredient ratios, and endless questions. Would ragi pair well with white chocolate? How much should I use? Could I keep the texture smooth? Every answer would come through experimentation.
That notebook became the starting point of something much bigger than a recipe. It became the blueprint for a dream—to create handcrafted chocolates made with care, honesty, and ingredients I could proudly stand behind.
Looking back, I realize that the first idea wasn't just about making chocolate.
It was about making something I would happily share with my own family.
